Vitamin tip of the week...
Featuring: Probiotics!
Probiotics are a collective class of healthy bacteria commonly referred to as L. acidophilus, B. bifidus, or S. thermophilus.
They are commonly used in treating vaginal infections, irritable bowel syndrome, supressed immune system, milk allergies, yeast hypersensitivity syndrome and many other ailments.
Probiotics are "friendly" strains of bacteria that are used to promote gastrointestinal health as well as helping to prevent vaginal infections.
If youare taking antibiotics, it may be beneficial to take probiotics at the same time, and to continue them for a couple of weeks after you have finished the course of drug treatment. This will help restore the balance of natural bacteria in your digestive tract.
